Best Time to Visit Miami
Miami is warm all year, with average temperatures from about 20°C in January to 29°C in August. What changes is the rain and the price: the dry season from November to April brings sunshine, low humidity and the highest hotel rates, while the wet season from May to October brings heat, afternoon thunderstorms and the Atlantic hurricane season (1 June to 30 November). Here is when to go — and when to think twice.
The dry season: sunny days, low humidity and the lowest hurricane risk, ideal for the Everglades and the Keys — though prices and crowds peak from Christmas to March.
Warm sea and still mostly dry at the start of the month, with fewer crowds and lower hotel rates than the high season.
The peak of hurricane season, with the highest chance of tropical storms, heavy rain and oppressive humidity — hotel prices are low, but check the forecast and keep bookings flexible.
