Things to do in Downtown and Brickell

Downtown and Brickell are Miami's business core, on the mainland side of Biscayne Bay: high-rises, Bayfront Park, Bayside Marketplace and the cruise port.

Half a day covers the waterfront and Bayside on foot; add the Perez Art Museum Miami and the Frost Museum of Science and it becomes a full day, since both charge separate admission (expect roughly $20-$25 each) and reward at least an hour inside.

The free Metromover loops through both neighbourhoods and is the easiest way to move between them without a car or a rideshare. This is a slice of Miami, not the whole city: Little Havana's Cuban culture and Wynwood's street art sit elsewhere and get their own pages.
